South African ostrich feathers are world-renowned for their exceptional quality — full, fluffy, and deeply pigmented (or pure white in albino birds). The Klein Karoo ostrich industry produces feathers used by fashion houses including Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, and Moulin Rouge.

Ostrich feathers are sold in categories: wing feathers (the most valuable), tail feathers, body feathers, and floss (downy feathers). White feathers from albino birds command the highest prices as they can be dyed any colour. Natural black, grey, and white patterned feathers have their own premium markets.

All our feathers are humanely collected during the natural moulting process or at slaughter. They are cleaned, steam-sterilised, and graded before sale.
